Is there a way to prevent SourceTree to switch to Log/History tab after commit?

It's really annoying when after every commit SourceTree switches to the Log/History tab and I have to switch back. Options which used to keep the commit box opened after commit is still there (while the box was removed) but it have no effect on the current layout.

Is there a way to tell ST not to do this and stay on the File Status tab? And if not, would it be possible to add such feature?

I don't know of any. If you don't get a helpful response here in a few days, post a bug report about the "keep commit box opened" option to jira.atlassian.com.
