Is it possible to choose destination branch automatically based on the name of the pull request branch?

This would be useful for when you need to merge pull requests for release branches e.g., fix/1.x/bugfix into release/1.x. When a pull request is created, the correct release branch could be selected automatically.

The closest thing to this is support for gitflow, but that merges into branches you've designated as develop or master, not into branches with similar names but different prefixes.
