I just got SourceTree to demo to developers and I can't install it unless I get a BitBucket account which I do not need or want or will use.

How can I use this without BitBucket?

Hi @tim crowther 

AFAIK bitbucket is optional when you use Sourcetree. Just click 'Continue' in the setup screen:

The registration is not optional in v3.3.x
