I have a local SVN repository and would like to move to Bitbucket - is Sourcetree a way to do it?

I upgraded my Mac and my old SVN Client/SVN server Cornerstone no longer recognizes file changes or does commits (the files and logs are visible though) so I was thinking of just moving to GIT and using Bitbucket.

Sourcetree is a client for this when my repositories are hosted at Bitbucket, right? Sorry to ask such a basic question.

Is it easy to migrate my SVN repositories to GIT or would it be easiest to just upload all the current files as new repositories. Would I do that with Sourcetree? Does Sourcetree maybe have a feature to import SVN repositories?

I'm the only one who works on these files if that helps.

Thanks.

Collaborate on code with inline comments and pull requests. Manage and share your Git repositories to build and ship software, as a team.
