I am a beginner and need to know how to open my branch in visual studio

I am new to visual studio and Bit bucket as well as source tree. For last two weeks, I have tried to create my branch and open it in source tree. I do not know how to open my branch. I need really very basic steps on how to open my branch in visual studio and do coding. I went through so many tutorials but nothing helped me.
