How to opt out of analytics collection

Hi,

I have just installed source tree on Mac  and would like to opt out of analytics collection. However, I saw no option during the first installation or in the program itself (to opt in or out for that matter). Is it possible to opt out of analytics?

Yoav.

Hi Yoav,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

At least here in Community a similar request (but for Windows operation system) was answered as follows:

That analytics submission is controlled via the AnalyticsHasAgreed setting in the user.config.

You can either force this to false in the sourcetree.exe.config of the install before the first run, or after it has run atleast once by setting it in the %localappdata%/Atlassian/Sourcetree.exe_url_{hash}/{version}/user.config file

Probably you are able to find this files in your installation also - then you could try to adjust the values accordingly.

Cheers,
Daniel
