I installed Sourcetree onto my Mac computer for the first time. I used my login to log into the bitbucket cloud. When I finish logging into the system for Sourcetree, it said there is no ssh key but there is. How do I get my existing key to be implemented within the source tree because I do not want to create a new key. I went through the process of granting access for Sourcetree to use bit bucket and I thought i had everything transferred over including the SSH key. I am using Sourcetree version 4.2.1. (248) ... I will upload screenshots to give you a better understanding.

Hi,

I understand that you have an existing SSH key you want to use with sourcetree rather than be forced to generate a new one.   You can do this, although it tends to be more complex to setup than it would be to just allow sourcetree to generate its own.

That said, you can follow the steps in Set up personal SSH keys on macOS in order to add your SSH key to your host system and Bitbucket Cloud.  In my own example, I have added my key to my ~/id_rsa.pub file.

I suspect that your Mac might not have this file in place, hence sourcetree is unaware of your SSH key
