How to get pass the registration process of SourceTree?

   I have downloaded SourceTreeSetup-3.3.8.exe file to my local desktop. When I ran this executeable file and got to the registration phase, I selected bitbucket (not the server). I get an error message trying to connect. Running the network troubleshooter indicates the remote device won't accept the connection. I looked at my Atlassian account and found out that no app has been added. How do I establish a connection between bitbucket and SourceTree? I'm new to all of this and am exploring to see if this is going to be of any use to me.
