As I read in a stack overflow thread it is possible to recover the data by installing a software called Recuva data and deep scan the folder which you had the repo. Here is the link to the post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34032702/how-to-restore-deleted-repository-on-disk-sourcetree . Hope this helps.

Are you sure did get the repository using that tool?
