How to filter commits by author?

The list of commits for the current branch still often makes it hard to see just your own commits, if you've merged in other branches etc.  In fact what I'd really like is a way just to see commits made DIRECTLY to the current branch, and exclude anything changed via a merge.

There is a feature request: BSERV-10875

If anyone discovers this thread looking for a solution, you can try the solution outlined here:
https://superuser.com/questions/900590/how-to-filter-commits-by-author-in-sourcetree

There's a custom search window if you go to View->Search View

The problem with this solution it that it searches all branches.  I think the request is to search a specific branch for commits from an author.

Hi Dylan, this feature is not currently available but you can submit your idea at jira.atlassian.com by clicking the Create button.

Hope this helps!
