How to change the default clone command to get progress output?

The default command while cloning a git repo via SourceTree is something like

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false clone --recursive C:\dev\MyRepo

Since SourceTree has an option to view the command output and I believe that Git's clone command has a flag to see the clone progress (% of completeness) I ask you guys:

How can I change the default clone command used by SourceTree so I can customize it and get progress output?

Could you guys at least say "No, it's not possible" or whatever?! Gee

This is already on the roadmap for future versions, it's been there for quite a while but there wasn't enough interest to prioritise it.

Just as a sidenote, if you want to log feature requests for SourceTree in the future you can log them directly to us developers via project SRCTREE.

Thanks! :)
