I get notification from GitHub that two-factor authentication will be required from August this year. I want to know whether there is anything I need to do or configure in SourceTree to ensure continued access to my Git repositories.
In the articles about TFA on the GitHub pages, a third-party authentication tool is mentioned as a requirement to log in after August this year. I am hesitant to install yet another app for this. If SourceTree is not affected by this change I would be happy, but I want to prevent being locked out because I did not take action in time.
