How do you change the location of .gitconfig?

I can't seem to find anything on this. My company doesn't let us change our home folder where the --global .gitconfig is stored. My network goes out all the time and it causes issues because sourcetree can't "find" the file.

 

How do I change it so that --global's .gitconfig is at a different location like my C drive.
