How can i get rid of invalid file references Edited

I have some invalid file references in my local git which i cannot get rid of. Any try to remove, stop tracking etc. fails do to "file does not exist" ... the files dont exist, but sourcetree shows that "files" ... how can i get rid of them?

There are no such file with a \r at its end

Hello! Not sure why this is happening as I haven't seen it before, but could you try toggling "Disable Libgit2" under Options > Git, and see if that helps? If you're not on the latest version, I'd also recommend upgrading as that may solve the issue as well.
