Hosting Account for GitHub Enterprise will not allow me to connect HTTPS or SSH

Deleted user Nov 04, 2020

When I attempt to connect to a remote repository, the only option is to select,

add an account. I attempted multiple with the Hosting Service as GitHub Enterprise.

Host URL being the URL for my work place GitHub location. I tried both HTTPS and

SSH. Authentication has Basic as the only value. Username: as my work login ID and

the password being the password for that login account.

Authentication failed.

Failed to check login for user [AzureAD\firstname.lastname@hal.com] not actual name.

Must authenticate to access the API.

This failure occurs for both Preferred Protocol: HTTPS or SSH.

I have generated a SSH Key in Sourcetree and GitHub accepted. My Atlassian account is

through my google account.
