Using a Github enterprise account on source-tree with the correct host url gives the following error and could not use source-tree properly.
Host url: https://github.example.com
Preferred Protocol: HTTPS or SSH
Authentication: Basic
Username: just the shortname
Clicked "Refresh Password"
It gave the following...
Unable to parse the response from the host service.
Please check the host url details for this account. It's likely that Sourcetree tried to contact an unrecognized service.
Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path ", line 0, postion 0.
Please advise how can this be resolved. Sourcetree is better in my opinion.
Thanks
Hi Ana,
I also have similar issue, can you help on that?
Regarding to github desktop, I think it should forward to browser to let the user to authenticate by some SSO or similar.

using SSH for enterprise accounts still fails with this error.

Found the solution. Create an access token from your enterprise account, then use that as your password. You still need to have your SSH keys setup, however.

Hi Joel, welcome to the Community!
Can you send us a screenshot of your attempt at adding the Gitbug Enterprise account? I tried to reproduce your issue, but I couldn't find the option "Refresh password" (I'm on Sourcetree for Mac).
Also, for troubleshooting purposes, can you also let us know which Sourcetree version and OS are you using?
Best regards,
Ana
