I am new to Bitbucket, tried to download the Mac version of Sourcetree to connect with my Bitbucket repository. After downloading getting the issue -
“Sourcetree” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software
Unfortunately, the only solution would be to override GateKeeper. To do this, after you see that warning, open System Preferences->Security & Privacy->General. You should see a warning and a button near the bottom labeled "Open Anyway". This will bypass GateKeeper and open Sourcetree.
Ideally, Atlassian would use a code-signing certificate from Apple to avoid this situation.
