I am new to BitBucket and SourceTree. I created a Repo in the cloud. I then cloned the Repo to a local folder using SourceTree. SourceTree will update my local copy if I add a new file to the Repo in the Cloud.
When I add a file to the local folder, I open SourceTree, move the file from Unstaged to Staged, push the Commit button to commit the file, then attempt to do a Push to the online Repo.
The Push runs with no errors and shows Completed Successfully. After closing, the file is still in Staged and has not been uploaded to the online repo.
I am probably just missing a setting somewhere.
TIA for any help,
Bill.. .. .
I corrected the problem.
The problem was solved when I switched to App Pasword instead of BitBucket user password in SourceTree.
