Extracting All files from a commit at once

Michael Pastore February 24, 2023

Hello,

From within SourceTree it seems I can select a branch, local or remote and choose Cntrl + 3 to Search for a commit by a string.  Once I have found the commit, I can right-click on each file within it and open the current version.

I did not see an option to extract/download all of the files from a commit at one time.

I was able to select multiple files, but when I right-clicked there was no option to save off or extract a copy of them from the commit.  Please let me know how I might get all of the files at once, and thank you for your assistance.

Mike

Bash script to iterate all commits of a given Git repository and extract all files within each commit .
