Errors when pushing or pulling

Edited

Hi, I keep getting the below error when pushing or pulling to my Bit Bucket account through SourceTree.

Error:

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false -c credential.helper=sourcetree push -v origin refs/heads/master:refs/heads/master

Pushing to https://bitbucket.org/******** (I have edited this)

remote: Too many invalid password attempts. Try logging in through the website with your password.

fatal: unable to access 'https://bitbucket.org/thecreativecorporation/*****': The requested URL returned error: 403

Completed with errors, see above

This happens every time I try to push or pull. I have updated my version of Source Tree but it is still the same.

Hi

It looks like your Bitbucket account is semi-locked. You will need to open your Bitbucket account in a browser. If you have an open session already then logout and then log back in, this should reset the lock.

I did this and it didn't work. Then I went into my account settings and saved my username again and it now works.

Which account setting? In browser Atlassian account or sourceTree presences ? can you pleas help ?

Hi

I believe @Jay Burt was refereeing to his Bitbucket account in Sourcetree. In Windows it would be in Tools/Options/Authentication tab
