Error: username or password

Hi there,

I'm having issues with sourcetree, the password and username are right, but every time I try to clone a repository this message appears:   Error: remote: Invalid username or password.

I've tried every possible solution that I've found on various forums but the problem's still there.

What can I do?

PS. with other programs like bit tortoise everything is working fine but I have to use sourcetree for internal company politics

Try selecting OAuth instead of Basic and see if that works to authenticate you. I saw the same thing when I used basic and know the password was correct.

You can also generate a Personal Access Token, select Basic and use that as the password
