Does the list view really work for other people?

The list view on the left constantly changes focus, I fight it CONSTANTLY.  I am looking at stashes and it jumps back to the selected item.  I change branches and it jumps back to the old branch name.  Does this not happen to other people? After years, I am abandoning sourcetree because it's a nightmare

Just started using SourceTree and have not seen such focus jumping.

maybe add your platform and source tree version to the question so

we are on the same page regarding what you see.

Windows.  3.4.2.  I also find if I add a repo it forgets it if I restart the app

I think if you're on one project for a while the window will fill up and that's when it becomes a nightmare.  No matter where it jumps now, all your branches are probably visible
