Custom action "launch path not accessible"

Latest Sourcetree in the writing moment (4.0.2)

Mac Catalina (10.15.4)

I have this custom action:

Script target: code

Parameters: $REPO/$FILE

Which produces command `code path/to/file`

When I run this action on a file I get an error saying "launch path not accessible".

I have found a similar question on this forum but the problem was more about their $PATH being incorrectly configured to `git`.

I believe this is the cause of Mac Catalinas permissions and there have been other problems with Sourcetree with not asking for these permissions.

How can I resolve this issue?

I am having this issue too. Unable to run custom scripts at all.
