Bit of a weird scenario here but I will try my best to simplify the explanation.
Windows machine is on $Domain1
Local git server is on $Domain2
When trying to clone a repository from the local git server I am using my username from $Domain2 in the source path and I am not asked for a password. Sourcetree then begins to check the source but never finishes and seems to just spin indefinitely. I suspect that Sourcetrees default behaviour is to try and use the credentials you used when signing into Windows but unfortunately those credentials would be incorrect in this scenario. I have not seen anyway to enter a password when cloning other than if it is a cloud based git service.. i.e bitbucket, github etc.
Is there anyway to get around this? Or does Sourcetree just not play well with local git servers? I have no seen anyone else post any issues similar to this.
Thanks.
