I am updating an old computers bitbucket. It was running like 2.0. I updated to 3.0.15.
When I try to login I cannot, it keeps telling me wrong user and password. I tried resetting the password. I used it to login to website, and I used it to login on another computer.
However, every time I try to login on this computer via the prompt that comes up for the Atlassian Bitbucket login it fails. Even when I copy paste the username and password from the website which lets me login.
Here is the error I get with a 100% correct user and password:
Logon failed, use ctrl+c to cancel basic credential prompt.
remote: Invalid username or password
fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://[name]@bitbucket.org/[name]/[reponame].git/'
The small login window pops up 5 times then it just gives up. Since this works on another computer and I know the login works, is there a way to debug that this login prompt is working correctly and not using some corrupt cached login data?
Please advise
