Cannot install SourceTree 4.1.7 (250)

I have installed this update - 4.1.7 (250) - like 4 times already but when I do a check for update, it always comes back as still not installed. Anyone has this issue?

(macOS 10.14.6)

Same here it's actually a bit irritating, will there be a fix or are there just 2 people in the whole world on mac with this issue?

Same issue here on macos 12.3

I have the same problem. Does anybody from Atlassian read these threads?

I've located a support ticket for this issue. Can I suggest that anybody affected by it go and vote for it. Otherwise it might never get looked at.

The same.

1. When update from auto update, the version installed was 4.1.7 [243] instead of 250. Keep the auto update progress, the result is the same.
2. Remove Sourcetree app and install from brew, the app is 4.1.7[243] as well.
3. Downloading from, the app version is 4.1.6[242].

So there is no way to instal build 250, all deployment are failed.

It seems they've published the metadata that 4.1.7 500 is available but the about box of says its build 243 .

So still offers 4.1.6 to download :-(

Where can I download it? Updating from the app still crashed on install loop…

macOS refuses to install because it is failing a security check.  See

The latest download is available here:

However it appears to be from an unverified developer and doesn't start.
