Cannot clone repo from SourceTree, but gitBash works.

I tried to clone SSH repo and got this failed message:

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks -c credential.helper= -c credential.helper="C:/Users/Fotal/AppData/Local/ATLASS~1/SOURCE~1/GIT_EX~1/GIT-CR~1.EXE" fetch origin

error: cannot spawn sh: No such file or directory
fatal: unable to fork

Then, when I clone the repo using gitBash and try to push / fetch / clone... then this error repeats.

Hi Nikita, welcome to the Community!

From your message it's not clear to me if these operations work on Gitbash or not. To help us investigate this issue for you, and if you're still experiencing this issue, could you answer the following?:

  1. Are you getting this error when using Gitbash instead of Sourcetree?
  2. Which Sourcetree version are you using?
  3. For troubleshooting purposes, can you check if it works when using HTTPS
  4. Have you checked the logs?

Let us know if you need any further help.

Best regards,

Ana
