Cannot add multiple accounts to Sourcetree

When I try and add a 2nd account to Sourcetree (connect Account) it redirects to a webpage which asks "Do you want to allow this page to open “Sourcetree”?" which I allow and then nothing happens. Have to cancel add request. 

Mac: M2 Air 12.6

Sourcetree: 4.2.0

After much mucking around the problem is that you have to login to Bitbucket first with the account you want to add. Then when you add the account you still get the blank webpage that appears to have done nothing, but now if you go back to Sourcetree the account is added.

Very bad user experience, though it does work, and the documentation is incomplete and therefore misleading.
