I have recently bought a new computer.
I started working on a previous repo and to begin with I was amazed that installing Sourcetree seemed to 'just work'- once I opened the repo it noticed all the changes I'd made. Great
Now I am trying to push them and it wont do it.
I get:
git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false push -v --tags origin master:master
fatal: unable to access 'https://myrepo.git/': OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to bitbucket.org:443
And I cannot find anything to fix it. Tried uninstalling and re-installing, deleting the passwd file, and a few other suggestions on here but no progress...
Thanks in hope!
Also I'm using Windows 10, and I'm also using Sourcetree so I dont have to use the CLI because I dont know how to use that/undertstand it....
The solution I found that worked *after uninstalling the free anti virus software that came free with my computer in case that was causing the issue* (anyone gonna refund me the cost of that?!) was to add '104.192.143.3 bitbucket.org' to the windows hosts file as described here:
https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/13060/failed-to-connect-to-bitbucketorg-port-443
This is an insane solution and should not be necessary for any decent software. Sourcetree should be utterly ashamed of themselves that they cannot make their product work without hacks like this on brand new DELL computers.

Oh jesus, now I have set up a new local account on this computer THIS doesn't work either!!!!!!!
Now I get...
Logon failed, use ctrl+c to cancel basic credential prompt.
remote: Invalid username or password. If you log in via a third party service you must ensure you have an account password set in your account profile.
fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://davidosullivan@bitbucket.org/davidosullivan/ice2017.git/'
PLEASE IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME GET THIS SORTED FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY I AM TOTALLY SICK OF IT!!!!!!!!
