The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
With Apple reconfiguring file-associations all the time it is real PITA to open a file with right-click from inside SourceTree.
Currently, I am forced to go to the deep custom actions > repository > edit in order to open the file in my proffered editor.
If SourceTree would allow a custom editor, this should be the first in the contextual menu, so we don't waste time opening files.
Hello Sorin,
Thanks for reaching out to Community with your request to edit Sourcetree’s editor. We would ask you to create a feature request as this is the best method to get the attention of the people who manage and developer within the product. A feature request will also allow others to find and vote for your request as well. To create a feature request please navigate to https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/SRCTREE/issues and select “Create” and follow the prompts.
Once you have a feature request created please link it within this post so others may find and vote for your idea.
Regards,
Stephen Sifers
