I've used Sourcetree for many years and been very happy with it.
I just got a new Mac and am trying to install Sourcetree, but now there seems to be some silly Bitbucket requirement. I don't use Bitbucket!
...but I set up a damn Bitbucket account anyway.
When I try to play along, I'm asked for a "Base URL"?!?
What's that?!?
What a PITA.
So I Google around and I enter what I think it's asking for, then it just sits and spins forever, saying "Logging in...".
If you're trying to win over users to Bitbucket, this strategy is surely failing.
I've seen so many posts online by people who are having trouble with this, but apparently you think it's fine like this.
Hi @Jerry Barnes,
Are you specifically using Bitbucket Server? (that's self-hosted instances only) If you registered for a free Bitbucket Cloud account specifically for this you should use the first button to log in. Please confirm.
