Can't install SourceTree 2.0.20

Allavine Curtis May 19, 2017

I'm currently on SourceTree version 1.9.13.7.  I got the notice to upgrade SourceTree to the version 2.x series. I downloaded the SourceTree file SourceTreeSetup-2.0.20.1.1489683341 and unzipped it.  When I execute the Update executable, the cmd window flashes briefly, and a Squirrel setup file is created. That's all it does.  Nothing else happens and SourceTree does not get updated.

Is there a step I'm missing?

Thanks!

Hi Allavine! To move to the latest version of SourceTree, it's necessary to uninstall 1.9.13.7 first, then manually download and install it from www.sourcetreeapp.com.

If this is still not working, you can you try resetting your preferences and making sure SourceTree is not currently running in Task Manager.

Let me know if you could install it now.

Cheers :)

Ana
