Can't clone repo to sourcetree

This doesn't work for Https or SSH. My boss gave me permissions to the repo and through the bitbucket website I can see the file hierarchy and all the source code. However, I can't clone it to sourcetree. It keeps saying "this is not a valid source path/ url" and the detailed error message is

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
git@bitbucket.org: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Often it will prompt me to enter my bitbucket password at this point, and when I do, it keeps asking me again and again and again. What is happening? Please do help me.

Hello!

Please make sure you have the latest version of Sourcetree installed, as well as the latest version of git-for-windows (assuming you're using windows).

When installing the latest version make sure you check the box labeled "Install the git-credential-manager-for-windows". Then, restart Sourcetree and try again.

I am on a Mac, does this change the install process?
