If a branch is deleted from Bitbucket or Github websites, the deleted branch still shown in Sourcetree desktop application - under Remotes/origin - even if "Fetch" is clicked and the application restarted.
While if "Fetch" is done using Github desktop application, it works and reflects on Sourcetree app.

Please file a ticket in our public ticket tracker about how a repository's remotes aren't updating as expected with the notes you listed here. This allows us to triage and prioritize and other users can search and vote on it as well.
