ATlassian source Tree issue

We have package request ‘Atlassian SourceTree 3.1.3’.

Installation of the source requires one time Registration to ‘Bitbucket cloud’ account:-

We can create free account with selecting ‘BitBucket’ option.

After login with ‘Bitbucket cloud account,’ If we click ‘Next’ button, following grant access message appears:-

Previous application ‘Atlassian SourceTree’ has option to skip the ‘Atlassian account’ creation during install. Current version application do not have the option, to skip account login during install.

Can you please suggest if we should provide access to ‘Sourcetree for Windows’.

or can you send installation instruction for package source tree.?

Hello Arpit,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for your request to get Sourcetree installed and running on your Windows machine. Within the newer version of Sourcetree you are required to have an Atlassian account to use the product, once the initial login has been done you can connect Sourcetree to any product which is compatible. Further information on this may be found at Install Sourcetree.

Additional information from this article:

You need an Atlassian account to use Sourcetree. When you get to this screen, cick either Use an existing account or Go to My Atlassian and follow the prompts to create a new account. Once you've got an account, you'll be able to log in with Use an existing account.

The prompt you’re getting to confirm access allows Sourcetree to connect to and use your Bitbucket site. Not granting access would present Sourcetree from being able to perform any git requests against Bitbucket.

If you’re having issues getting Sourcetree working with Bitbucket after you grant access please reach back out and let us know.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
