2FA for Github on Sourcetree failing to load on Mac

I've seen some similar issues here but haven't found this specific issue.

I'm attempting to update my credentials (now also using 2FA) on SourceTree for my Github account.

So I went to Preferences > Accounts to add my account to update to a new password on Github.

After I complete the u/p and completed the verification step for github via Oauth (SSH), I get an empty screen, which does not progress/load.



I have attempted to update Git to the latest version. I have installed it via GUI, clicked on "Use System Git" back in the Git preferences section, and changed  the file location to /usr/local/git folder (as specified in the Readme) and got the following error:
