Security Advisory for SourceTree

Matthew Hart Atlassian Team Aug 11, 2017

Today we have released a Security Advisory for SourceTree. This advisory discloses critical severity security vulnerabilities which affect SourceTree for macOS and SourceTree for Windows.

This advisory is related to a recent security fix in Git, Mercurial and SVN. More information on these issues can be found here.

Customers who have upgraded to SourceTree for macOS version 2.6.1 or SourceTree for Windows version 2.1.10 are not affected.

We strongly recommend updating to the latest version of SourceTree.

How to update?

To update to the latest version of SourceTree go to the SourceTree website. For additional details, see the SourceTree Security Advisory.
