Is it possible to set automatically refresh local folders without refreshing remote folders?

Is there a setting in SourceTree that will allow me to refresh locally files and folders when they change, but NOT refresh remotes? I see the "Refresh automatically when files change" setting, but it apparently affects both. I want it to refresh the local folder, but not the remotes.

I am having a problem with SourceTree and Azure DevOps on my local network. SourceTree periodically refreshes the repos I have open. But after awhile, it apparently forgets my credentials and starts trying to authenticate with the wrong credentials over and over again. After several attempts, my account is locked by the domain controller for about 20 minutes. I have to either wait for 20 minutes or unlock it on the domain controller.

In the meantime, I am having to remember to exit SourceTree when I am done with it. As you can imagine, this is not the most intuitive workflow.
