I mean... nothing since last July?
I know it's the pandemic and all, but ... NYC is actually hosting and running virtual events. I've even attended one of them.
Maybe we're too comfortable out here, with our t-shirts, shorts, and sandals weather.
No? Well then, please discuss. ;-}
So here's a blast from the past. My #JIRAEpicDayOff t-shirt was on the top of my stack of t-shirts, and I thought... hrm, did they Atlassian ever publish the videos from that day?
Looks like there was some Periscope streaming of the sailboat portion of the event, but alas those are no longer available:
Luckily it looks like the folks at Reciprocity Labs got a photo of one of their folks:

I will point out that I was not the fastest driver in this race. I was the fastest driver in this race who didn't crash. As I recall, there were 2-3 other folks who had fancy driving gloves, maybe brought their own helmets, and were driving very aggressively - clearly they wanted to win.
If I remember correctly - I think somebody's wheel actually came off of their car during a crash between the leaders, and voila, I coasted into first place.
Anyways, huge fun nonetheless, and the meal afterwards was amazing. Just regretted that I wasn't able to go sailing with everyone afterwards.

Anyways, just for fun, here's the entry that got me invited...
The challenge was "Tell us why you love JIRA with #JIRAepicdayoff for a chance to win a day of adventure for you and a teammate"
Whoops. That was my favorite entry. This is the one Atlassian liked:
@Darryl Lee It has been pretty quiet in here! I did just post a call for Community Leaders to host events in the Bay Area, so if you or anyone in your network is up for it, check out the thread!
