Rovo is enabled in Atlassian, Github organisation. But cannot access Rovo in Github Copilot chat.
I followed instructions from
Hi @Chandrashekhar Chanagonda I'm the Product Manager for the Rovo agent in VS Code for GitHub Copilot. Sorry you're having problems getting setup this is absolutely all working. Can you check that you've completed the following steps for me:
GitHub Admin Installing Agent on the Organization
First, the GitHub organization admin must install the Atlassian extension on your GitHub organization. Then, choose an Atlassian site for the agent to use to create its answers. You can only choose one Atlassian site at a time.
Go to Atlassian Rovo Copilot Extension on GitHub Marketplace: https://github.com/marketplace/atlassian
Select Install for free.
When asked, select the GitHub organization through which Copilot is enabled, then select Install to confirm. (Only the GitHub Organization admin can proceed with this action). This installs the agent on the organization and grants access to users in the org to use it.
Setup Copilot extension policy: https://github.com/organizations/(ORGNAME)/settings/copilot/policies
A user in the enabled GitHub Org
Open VS Code
Click the Extension Icon in VS Code, search for GitHub Copilot and Install
Click to Sign-in to GitHub.com with your users credentials
Then you mention atlassian-rovo
in Copilot chat
You will be asked to Authroize, click Authorize button, click Open
Then auth with GitHub, click Authorize Atlassian Rovo
Choose an Atlassian site from the dropdown menu, then select OK.
You are ready to go!

Hey @Chandrashekhar Chanagonda, welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You are 100% correct, Rovo will not work in Github Copilot chat right now, only Rovo Search.
The Atlassian Rovo documentation here indicates that Devs are working on a solution. I hope we get the Github Copilot chat-Rovo connector soon too!

Could you please confirm why this Rovo unavailability is not updated in https://github.com/marketplace/atlassian. ?
As per above link, Rovo is available in Github Copilot right?

Hey @Chandrashekhar Chanagonda, let me check through Rovo's documentation and check to see. I'm not Support or Dev; I'm one of the Community with you, I definitely didn't know Copilots didn't have Rovo Chat available yet. You are spot-on, it looks like it's Dev is working to get function later..
I just found a blurb at the bottom of this page here (bottom right) that says all Copilots are still in Beta. And it appears that Rovo Chat works in Atlassian apps just not connected products right now.
So you got it: Rovo is available in Github Copilot, which I just checked in Marketplace and Documentation to be sure, but it looks like the full functionality of it with connectors is NOT quite there! Rovo Chat works in the Atlassian apps like Jira, Confluence... just not the connected ones (except Google Docs, strangely enough)

@Chandrashekhar Chanagonda Last check, this URL: https://github.com/marketplace/atlassian
I could find no other documentation and/or instructions for Rovo or Rovo Chat. I think your Github instruction URL is 100% valid. I wish I had more info, but that's all I could find.
There's talk of another Forge Dev Den in January for building Advanced Agents so maybe we'll see functionality become more complete there. Crossing fingers!
