We're always looking for presenters.  You don't need to be an expert or even a power user.  If you have a unique take on a functionality, or you have a cool use case, and you want to share your story, we will welcome you with open arms!

Here are some things guidelines for our presenters:

  • Presentations must have something to do with an Atlassian product or an add-on to an Atlassian product.  JIRA and Confluence are popular, but if you have a cool story about Status Page or other services, they are very much welcome!
  • Presentations cannot be sales pitches.  If you are a sponsor and you are presenting, you are still able to plug your service or product, but this must be different than your presentation.  Your presentation, however, may be about how your service/product solved a problem or a demo.
  • Limit your presentation to a maximum of 30 minutes.  Believe it or not, shorter is better and we like presentations that are around the 10-15 minute mark.  Shorter talks (5-7 minutes) may be grouped together in a lightning talk series.
  • Make your presentation approachable.  Remember that not everyone is technically savvy.  Scope your presentation to high-level touch-points, where people can ask you questions later.  This is especially useful if you're finding yourself going beyond 30 minutes.

Presenters should be available after their presentation to network and answer questions.  However, if you are unable to, please provide an email address or other means of contact should people have questions.  Presenters should also arrive early to ensure their means of connecting to the presentation hardware is available and supported.

Ready to present?  Please email Michael Soh or drop a comment down below.
