Source tree extremely slow

I upgraed soucre tree to latest version. After that i was getting following message:

"The Mercurial team strongly encourages all users to upgrade to 3.7.3 or later due to a security vulnerability.

Your current configuration is using Mercurial 3.2.3"

Once i update the Mercurial version, my source tree became extremely slow.

It takes few minutes to do anything.

I did uninstall/reinstall , but no changes.

Also I noticed, it starts multiple git.ext when i do any thing in source tree.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I`m using Bitbucket and external git and after update to latest version of source tree for windows i can`t do nothing - it`s take a lot of minutes to do anything.

I`ve one git repo with ~ 8,000 files.

Have you got an anti-virus file scanner running?

I had a similar slowdown recently, after my AVG updated. i noticed some emails would not send until I (temporarily) disabled the "protection" mode, and then realized this was also causing my SourceTree to slow down horrible (with the same cure: temporarily disable AV protection).
