Jira Integration with Appian Business Process Platform

I wanted to ask the group if anyone has integrated Jira with the Appian business process management platform? If so I would love to chat.

Yes, we were able to successfully configure our RESTful Post queries to push and get the information we were seeking.  I do have one question though to see if ifs feasible. 

1. On the Appian side we associate a ticket with a JIRA project key. 
2. So for example; I have 10 Appian tickets associated with JIRA project key ABC. 
3. I go to create a new ticket in JIRA in project ABC. 
4. Is it possible to have a custom dropdown field that would query Appian to return as choices all Appian tickets that are associated with JIRA project ABC?

Our research has shown that we may need to create a plug-in to accomplish this but I wanted to see if there was an other solution.
