How to select multiple files in SourceTree commit on Mac?

Mikko Lakomaa February 11, 2014

So on Windows I can just select files and hit space to select them, but on Mac this just brings up Preview for the first file. I'm using a Mercurial repo so I can't just drag them to staging.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to select the checkbox for multiple files in the Mac version of SourceTree? Also is there a list of keyboard shortcuts somewhere?

It used to be shift-click or cmd-click, but now selecting multiple doesn't enable you to commit or discard multiple files!

Yes, it's really ridiculous they removed this feature. I am going to have to find a new Mercurial GUI for Mac.

I turned on full keyboard access and was able to select one file at a time with Option + Space. I know that's not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe it will get you started.
