I write technical documents for the pharmaceutical industry. Customers just want to read our documents. They wouldn't want to "like" them or "follow" the author. How can "configure out" social media features like "liking" and "following"?
Most of them are functionalities provide by COnfluence system plugins. For example, if you don't want like finctionality, you can disable the "Confluence Like Plugin" under Administration > Manage Plugins> System Plugins.
