I am trying to use Confluence questions and answer with some macros, special Include Page so I can reuse content from my Confluence intance.
When I start typing the macro { ... I am getting the Open Macro Browser option, but only the Code Macro is visible there.
so I pasted a Page Include macro from other page and it worked ok. BUT, when I tried to edit the paramenters of the macro (change page to include).. I get this message:
There is no metadata configured for this macro which means no configuration screen can be presented here.
If this is a user macro then you can add metadata to the template using the User Macro Administration console.
Not out of the box - you would need to check the marketplace for addons which do this.
For my softwaredoc-wikis, I usually set up two wikis in such situations - one for the highsecurity stuff like operational details, IP addresses, adminusernames etc. and one for the documentation for businessusers and developers
This has the second advantage, that you can station the sec-wiki in a separate dmz with additional security enforced.
