Confiforms cause intermittent issues with [com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxLazyException]

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I'm using confiforms plugin to create a form that once submitted creates a page with a couple of labels per page. However, intermittently I get the following error, and I can't figure out what pattern causes it:
- [com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxLazyException] Unexpected character ' ' (code 32) (missing name?) at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,1535]
It's really bugging me, and I can't figure out what's the root cause of the error.
More info:
- I have 2 forms in total (Form A and Form B)
- The form data is stored on a single page, while the forms exist in two separate pages (one page for Form A, and one page for Form B)
- Both forms create pages under the same parent page
