Does the step build time limit apply when you are self-hosting?

We are using Windows Runners to self-host. Does the Pipelines Step limit time still apply?

The maximum step time is 720 minutes (12 hours), this applies to all builds:

•  https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/step-options/#Size
