I am new to Opsgenie, and have a set up question

Is there a way to let notes and attachments roll forward into future alerts of the same type, we would like to add lessons learned, SOP, and the like so that we can work through things faster.

Thank you for reaching out to the Opsgenie Community.

Opsgenie does not directly support a feature to roll notes and attachments forwarded into future alerts of the same type.

However, Opsgenie does have a feature called "Alert Policies" which can be used to automate actions based on defined conditions. While it does not directly allow you to roll notes and attachments forward, you could potentially setup a policy that automatically adds a particular information/SOP to an alert's defined field like description/Message/extra properties.

For attachments, Opsgenie currently does not support an automated method to roll them forward. Attachments need to be manually added to each alert.
