Hi all,
I would like to start implementing Opsgenie in my organisation, however, with the current migration of Opsgenie to JIRA ITSM, it's not 100% clear where to start.
The target state would be using JIRA ITSM as a single point for the relevant teams and integration of Status page for the customers.
Does anyone have the setup like that in place and can advise where to start?
We have tested the integration of Status page towards ITSM (alert created in status page will be received by ITSM Project), that is possible, but is there an option to push the information from ITSM Project (Alerts) to Status Page? So the team is only working in ITSM Project and the rest is automated and ITSM Project is the only point that has touchpoints with Monitoring.
In case more teams are involved in troubleshooting, should they all be a part of one ITSM Project?
Thanks in advance.
Hey @Irina Ageeva ,
Thanks for your question! It sounds like you’re asking about Jira Service Management (JSM) and whether it can send data to Statuspage.
There is a built-in integration available for this, and you can find more information at the link here.
Statuspage can receive events through APIs, so Jira products should be able to communicate using Webhooks or a similar integration. I recommend reaching out to the relevant support team to explore all available options and find the one that best fits your needs.
Feel free to contact our team using this link.
Thanks,
Arumugam
Are all OpsGenie accounts being migrated to Jira Service Management (JSM)? I am an OpsGenie customer and haven't heard anything from Atlassian about this yet.

Hey There,
In case you want to migrate from a Standalone Opsgenie to JSM Opsgenie, you can do that by following steps from here - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/start-shifting-from-opsgenie-to-jira-service-management/
Please note, at the moment, no account is forced to migrate to JSM.
In case if something is changed and the migration is required for all of our users, we'll communicate it with you.
Best Regards,
Egor
